Better than I thought!

First one had some issues. One motor stopped working within 4 batteries.

GREAT QUADCOPTER THAT I FOUND EASY TO FLY – AND IT IS MY FIRST.

This is the second quadcopter I have purchased. The first never flew more than 3 minutes and one motor stopped working. So because of the other positive reviews I purchased the AKASO X5C hoping to have better luck. Wow – I found myself actually hovering within just a few minutes. It seems fairly quite and well built I think. Nice assortment of spare parts plus four extra batteries. I was pleasantly surprised with the instructions — they are in English! I can read them and understand them! Proper sentences and clear plain easy to understand diagrams. At 70 years old this is sure a new experience – I think this will be lots of enjoyable fun. I hope to take some property photos here in the mountains where I live near Yosemite Park.

We do like the multiple batteries to keep him busy for some …

I bought this for my 9 year old son for Christmas. He likes it very much so far. We are still getting used to the controls and we have limited indoor flight space at the moment, but we have gotten sustained flight in our living room. We do like the multiple batteries to keep him busy for some time before having to fully recharge. I am considering purchasing another for myself. Would definitely buy again and possibly sooner rather than later.

Some of the best fun you will have for under $50 and perfect starting quadcopter!

I’ve had a few other drones before(they break, the wind blows them away etc..) so I have some kind basis for comparisson and this drone is an incredible value for the $45 I spent on it. I have owned drones that cost $20 or $30 more than this and the 5XC here is better and more responsive than those! My only complaint is the 4 generic batteries that came with the package are noticeably less effective than the one original battery that sends the quadcopter off at turbo speed but I won’t mark it down because the extra batteries were a bonus of sorts with this package that doesn’t usually come with this drone. Even with one battery it’s an incredible value!!

So much fun!

So much fun!! this is an awesome deal, with camera and gyro. We just took it out of the package and played in the room, but my 7 yrs old son and I had already lots of fun. Seems pretty well built, given the amount of banging against the furniture, as we learn how to play with it. We ordered another one, so both can play (and to have some spare parts / batteries, too).

It’s really great as a starter quadcopter for a 1st time pilot

This is our second Akaso X5C drone. It’s really great as a starter quadcopter for a 1st time pilot. Our first one had just one battery and the four battery combo pack is a huge upgrade. My 9 year old daughter was doing pretty well with the first one, but a single battery meant she was only learning for 5-8 minutes at a time. Now, she gets a half an hour+ with the extra batteries and has really gotten great at controlling it.

A reasonable value for the money.

This is a nice and inexpensive kit. The issues I have encountered are with the trim. It is a little problematic to trim, sometimes it seems like the trim has no effect. I am will get the hang of it. Picture quality is about where cellphones were in 07 – 08. Same with the video, maybe marginally better.
