Aerodynamic Transforming Design
Carbon fiber arms give you the strength to maneuver in the air and they transform, moving out of the cameras way at the flick of a switch. With a full 360° unobstructed view, you now have the freedom to capture shots independent of the direction you are flying.

This is a great product, but maybe not for a first time …
This is a great product, but maybe not for a first time quadcopter pilot. I’d reccomend borrowing or buying a phantom first and getting the hang of the controls with that, I did and crashed it twice, glad I did it with the phantom because I’ve had my inspire for over a month now with 50 flights and no crashes or major issues. I only did 10 flights with the phantom before going to the inspire full time. The camera on this thing is WAY better than the phantom vision +. The previous reviewers comments about having to use the app is silly. The inspire app is amazing and intuitive and let’s you control all the camera settings so easily. The HD live feed is much better than the vision +. You can also hook up to a HD montitor or tv and not use the app. Right now there is a small bug in the firmware where bad compass data occasionally makes the craft go into ATTI mode and drift with the wind but it’s very easy to regain control if you know what you’re doing. I’ve only had this problem a few time and moslty in extreme cold. Dji has acknowledged this bug and it will be fixed in the new firmware update very soon. Keep up with the inspireforums.com and dji forums to learn more once you buy. The still camera isn’t as great but I mostly use it for video. Amazing color and stabilized footage for such a small camera! Take things slow and practice before taking it out anywhere over water or anything and you’ll be all good!
As the owner of 4x DJI P2 Vision PLUSes as …
As the owner of 4x DJI P2 Vision PLUSes as well as a recent owner of the Inspire 1, I can honestly say that the new quadcopter is substantial upgrade on every level. This is a high quality product and a must buy for anyone interested in aerial photography. Kudos to DJI and their entire engineering team for creating such an outstanding product.
