In 2013 Walkera surprised the drone market with the incredibly feature rich QR X350 and they have done it again with the new Walkera QR X350 Pro, improving on nearly every important feature. With a more expansive battery compartment than the DJI Phantom, the X350 pro can now fly for approximately 25+ minutes with the included 3s 5200mAh 11.1v LiPO battery. The flight controller has also been updated providing improved stability and GPS position holding and is also plug-and-play compatible with the G-2D brushless gimbal from Walkera (not included). This makes it the perfect platform for a GoPro Hero3 or GoPro Hero4 Camera or other suitable HD personal camera. Walkera has also made improvements to the altitude sensor which uses GPS technology providing a locked-in hover with stabilized position hold mode. With the flip of a switch or loss of signal the QR X350 Pro will return itself back to the take off position and automatically land. This Ready to Fly quadcopter is packed with other high quality features including compass sensor, brushless power, low voltage detection and more! For those with a desire to run semi autonomous flights, this quad is compatible with ardupilot, MAV link and open sourced mission planning software to allow for waypoint driven flying. The QR X350 Pro includes Walkera’s flagship Devo 7 seven channel transmitter featuring a quad bearing design for silky smooth control stick action and the ability to bind up to 15 vehicles (with additional Walkera Devo receivers, not included.) Requires 8AA batteries. (not included)

Great… After update

SO FUN. It works beautifully. It isn’t the most stable with wind (even a slight breeze), but it does what is is supposed to. It did fall out of the sky unexpectedly when I was landing it, but it suffered no damage. This was partially my fault because I did not update it, however, I feel as it should be said it needs to be updated, rather than having it fall from the sky.

Good stable quadcopter

Very stable and flys good until on it’s 5 or 6 flight it went out of range on me. Be careful don’t let it exceed it’s range.

Battery doesn’t charge. My boyfriend has only gotten to use it twice. Very disappointed!

Very Good

Not for a beginner.

I just wanted to get this out there in case someone was using their Christmas money for this drone. Pro: It is built well and when you first see it you are like WOW! Con: I would not say this is a drone for a beginner or anyone without any RC knowledge. Which – I am a beginner and have no RC knowledge so the instructions are very daunting. There is assembly and calibration stuff. It’s not ready to fly out of the box. The battery took about 4 hours to charge. I’m just a mom/grandma that wants to take pictures with my GoPro from the air. 🙂 The setup is pretty complex (for someone that has absolutely no idea what they are doing). I am going to try to do the calibration stuff tomorrow. I hope it works because I am excited to use it. I will update this review.

The reason why I bought this drone, was because my last 350 QX malfunctioned high in the air, came plunging to the ground, and exploded. I bought this 350qx3 thinking it would be compatible. I’m having problems with the hand held part. I can’t pair them. So I still haven’t played with my new 350qx3 yet.
